Riverside Women Facilitator Training Course
Dear Sister,
Welcome to the Riverside Women Facilitator Training Course. This course has been prayerfully designed to equip you as a servant-leader in women’s ministry.
As a facilitator, you are not called to know everything or to do everything. Instead, your role is to create safe, Christ-centred spaces where women can gather, grow in faith, encourage one another, and encounter God in everyday life.
Over the coming modules, you will learn about:
-Building unity and hospitality
-Leading coffee meetups and mini Bible studies
-Supporting women through life’s seasons
-Growing in prayer, worship, and personal holiness
-Handling conflict with grace
-Using practical tools for ministry organisation
This is not about titles or positions. It’s about walking in humility, serving with love, and pointing women to Jesus.
We pray that through this training, you will grow in confidence, deepen your walk with the Lord, and feel prepared to serve with joy as part of the Riverside Women family.

- Module 1: Vision & FoundationsIn this opening module, we look at the vision behind Riverside Women and the biblical foundations of women’s ministry. You’ll discover how the early church model of fellowship, prayer, and encouragement shapes everything we do today.2
- Module 2: Discipleship & MentoringThis module explores how to walk alongside women in everyday life, guiding them in faith, prayer, and Scripture. You’ll learn practical ways to disciple and mentor women across different life stages with compassion and wisdom.4
- Module 3: Practical Ministry SkillsMinistry happens in the details of everyday life. Here you’ll develop skills in hospitality, leading coffee meetups, organising events, speaking with confidence, and guiding Bible studies — all with Christ at the centre.5
- Module 4: Care & SupportWomen come with different stories, struggles, and needs. In this module, we’ll cover pastoral care basics, listening skills, supporting women through grief, and being sensitive to life circumstances and learning difficulties.5
- Module 5: Theology & Doctrinal AwarenessUnity in ministry requires understanding. This module gives you a grounding in essential Christian doctrines, awareness of denominational differences, and wisdom in handling disagreements with grace and truth.4
- Module 6: Team Unity & Ministry ToolsStrong ministry depends on strong teams. This module focuses on building unity, resolving conflict biblically, encouraging one another, and using digital tools to stay organised and connected.4
- Module 7: Spiritual Life & GrowthHealthy ministry flows from a healthy spiritual life. In this final module, we look at prayer, worship as a way of life, and how to avoid burnout by resting in Christ and staying refreshed in His presence.4
Instructor
Tracy is an editor, researcher and writer who runs a publishing, media and marketing company in both the religious and healthcare arenas with her husband, providing christian resources to churches worldwide. She also writes faith-based articles and is co-founder of the Testing Truth publication resource. Being a born again Christian for over a decade, Tracy is passionate about spiritual development and transforming her character into the character of Jesus Christ. Tracy is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who enjoys to provide an atmosphere of worship through her music as a street performer, in small intimate settings and larger gatherings. She loves to attend and serve in the children’s ministry at her local church, singing in the worship band on occasion. Tracy draws from her experience organising events, growing a community and public speaking in the corporate sector to manage various meetups for Riverside Women.
